Harmony Mindfulness works with individuals and families striving to create a more centered lifestyle. Combining teaching and practice, we help clients develop and maintain a mindful approach to daily life, work and relationships.
We welcome those of all experience levels to join us, and are excited to be able to share the practice of mindfulness with our Sellwood neighbors and residents of the entire Portland area.

Harmony Mindfulness was created by Family Therapist Austin Karp-Evans and Dr. Monique Pritchard as a response to the need in their community and own personal lives to be more present. We are excited to be able to provide a community space to join together and share the practice of mindfulness with the Sellwood neighborhood and the Portland area.
Using Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), we aim to assist you and your family in developing and maintaining a level of mindfulness that will allow you to live in harmony.
Austin Karp-Evans, MA, MFT
Austin earned her Master of Arts Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy at Lewis & Clark College’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Austin works with individuals, couples and families, using a strength-based approach focusing on the resiliencies in individual and family life stories. Her professional interests include working with adolescents, emerging adults, and families with school-aged children on a variety of issues surrounding transition and change, using narrative and mindfulness techniques.
Monique E. Pritchard, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Pritchard is a well-known fixture in the Sellwood medical community and a longtime name in Portland area pediatrics. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and attended the University of Vermont Medical School, completing her residence at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). She also lived for a time in Siena, Italy, where she studied art history.

Harmony Mindfulness provides a range of services for individuals, couples, families and groups of all ages. The options listed below will help you find the services that best fit your needs.
Individual Mindfulness Session
This one-on-one session allows for individualized time to strengthen mindfulness practices at any level, and is available for anyone age eight and older.
Couples Mindfulness Session
Couples work allows partners to work on individual mindfulness practice while also creating and strengthening greater partner awareness.
These sessions offer families an opportunity to process issues in a more conscious manner through the use of narrative and therapeutic mindfulness techniques.
