Kaitlyn Simmons
MD, MPH, FAAP
Dr. Kaitlyn Simmons is a general pediatrician who enjoys forming long-term relationships with patients and their families. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to her patients. Because of her training in public health, she is passionate about preventive care and recognizes the importance of taking a holistic approach to caring for patients and their families.
Dr. Simmons is originally from Arizona. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Science Pre-Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame. She worked as a medical scribe in emergency rooms and clinics in the Phoenix area before attending medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, where she also earned a Master’s degree in Public Health. She completed her pediatric residency at Oregon Health and Science University, fell in love with Oregon, and is excited to continue to care for children of the Portland metro area.
When she is not at work, Dr. Simmons enjoys reading mystery novels, playing board games, going on nature walks with her dog Rori, and exploring the Oregon food scene and beaches.
