Katie Oldread

MD, FAAPP

Katie Oldread, MD, FAAP is a trusted physician and an expert in a wide range of pediatric care at Sellwood Medical Clinic, which has three locations in Portland, Oregon. As a patient-focused pediatrician, she focuses on building long-term relationships with her patients and their families. She is a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ population as well as has a special interest in healthcare disparities, both within the US and worldwide.

Dr. Oldread grew up just of the north of Boston. She attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, earning her bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology. She then joined the Peace Corps, serving as a community health worker in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Oldread went on to Harvard Medical School in Boston for her medical training and completed her residency in pediatrics at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.

Dr. Oldread joined the Sellwood Medical Clinic team in 2012 and has since become a leading pediatrician in the Portland area. When she is not working, she is often out exploring nature or throwing epic living room dance parties with her three children.
