Merinda Sterner was part of our SMC family of providers for several years and we are so grateful to have her back!
Her healthcare journey began as an Army medic and blossomed into a devotion to preventive medicine. After completing her physician assistant education at The University of Utah, she moved back to her home in the Pacific Northwest where she has been caring for patients in primary care since 2015.
By integrating holistic and evidence-based medicine, Merinda aims to cultivate trusting, collaborative partnerships and personalize care for the whole patient. She values creating an environment in which patients feel empowered to share openly, questions are encouraged and no topic is off limits. Merinda is a big believer in the healing power of sleep, laughter and lifestyle to create healthier, happier lives
Much like other Northwest natives, weekends will find Merinda running, hiking with her pup, crafting or enjoying the wealth of culinary delights that make Portland great! We are so thrilled to welcome her back to our Adult Care Team!
